New! Continuous Zero Trust Authorization
With our latest releases, StrongDM enables the real-time monitoring of access and operations across your infrastructure and the ability to enforce contextual access policies in real time.
💪 Closed Beta. Strong Policy Engine
This robust policy engine, powered by the Cedar Policy Language, enables distributed enforcement of centralized policies, creating a secure and unified access control framework across your infrastructure. Implement fine-grained access control (FGAC) to establish and apply dynamic rules governing access. FGAC extends authorization to include role-based access control (RBAC), attribute-based access control (ABAC), and policy-based access control (PBAC).
📍Generally Available! Context-based Signal with Device Trust
Device Trust provides a critical context signal when determining the risk associated with access to infrastructure. Incorporate device posture from endpoint security solutions like Crowdstrike and SentinelOne as part of the continuous trust assessment for all access connections.

Access Workflows
Workflow approvals can now be defined by roles, allowing admins to define access workflow approvals.
Access Workflows Notifications
Manage approval notifications and only receive email notifications if preferred. Make the change on the settings page in the Admin UI.
Temporary Access
Access requests for temporary access can now be created for a duration specified down to the minute. In addition, you can set and enforce maximum duration for which a user can request access. Default requestable maximum duration is 30 days.
Aurora PostgreSQL (IAM) and RDS PostgreSQL (IAM) are now available in Terraform and all SDK languages.
